PINsentry card readers for Online Banking

Your PINsentry card reader has batteries and works remotely, so you won’t need to plug it in.

It won’t interact with your computer. It’ll use your card details to give you a unique code for you to securely log in to Online Banking. We’ll never ask you to enter details to synchronise the card reader.

You won’t need to activate the card reader before you use it, but we recommend removing the warning labels.

You can use someone else’s card reader, even if it’s from another bank, but you can only use your own bank card and PIN. For your security, you should only use a card reader from a trusted source and make sure the label on the back hasn’t been removed or damaged.
