What are Beacons?

Beacons are a piece of technology that discreetly let us know when you arrive in branch, and inform us of any accessibility requirements you’ve told us about. That way you can get any support you need from us in our branches. And you can always let us know if you don’t need our assistance that day.

Our Beacons pilot is finished but we’d still like to hear from you

We ran a 6 month pilot in 10 branches across the UK so you could let us know what you thought about Beacons. We’ve currently put the pilot on pause to review your feedback and the data we gathered. Thank you to everyone who took part during the pilot – your input was invaluable.

If you missed out on the pilot, you can still get involved by taking part in a short telephone interview – we can arrange non-telephony interviews if required. You can use this opportunity to tell us what you’d like to see from Barclays Beacons.

If you have a disability or impairment that may impact the way you do your banking, we want to hear from you. Email us with the subject line ‘Beacons’ to accessibility@barclays.com and we’ll be in touch.
