How much cash can I withdraw each day?

The amount you can withdraw depends on the kind of account you have, how much you have in that account, and whether you have an arranged overdraft. Some debit cards allow you to manage your withdrawal limit in the Barclays app1

Cash withdrawal limits

Here are the default and amendable withdrawal limits for different types of account.

Personal current accounts (including Cash Card accounts)

Default limit of £300 per day

Set your daily limit from £0 to £500

Premier customers

Default limit of £1,000 per day

Set your daily limit from £0 to £2,000

 

Business Banking

Fixed limit of £750 per day

Cash Card (Youth)

Default limit of £50 per day

Set your daily limit from £0 to £50

You can use your debit card to withdraw cash from our cash machines and any others with the Visa or Plus logo. Some cash machines might charge a fee, while others have a withdrawal limit – sometimes, you might have to make more than one transaction. Post Office Counter withdrawals and cash withdrawals at shop checkouts are also included, but not the self-service machines or counter withdrawals in our branches.
 
You can change your daily withdrawal limit in the Barclays app – just follow these steps
 
  • Under 'Quick links' on the home screen, tap 'Your cards'
  • Select the debit card you want to change the withdrawal limit for
  • Tap 'Cash withdrawal settings'
  • Choose your limit and select ‘Save’

To turn cash withdrawals on or off in your app

  • Under ‘Quick links’ on the home screen, tap ‘Your cards’
  • Select the debit card you want to change the withdrawal limit for
  • Tap ‘Cash withdrawal settings’
  • Tap ‘Cash withdrawals’
  • Turn the switch on to use or off to not use cash withdrawals
