How do I change the name of my account?

  • Online banking

    If you're an Openplan Savings customer or are registered for Online Banking, you can rename your accounts online. However, please don't follow this process if you want to change your personal name with us. Follow these instructions to change your account name:

    1. Log in to Online Banking

    2. Select the edit button next to the name of your account

    3. Type how you want this account to be known in future

    If you're not already a member, register for Online Banking now.

  • By phone

    To change the name of an account, for example to tell the difference between a 'bills account' and a 'number 2 account', contact Telephone Banking (if you're registered).

  • Branch

    To change the name of an account, for example to tell the difference between a 'bills account' and a 'number 2 account', contact any branch.
